Siata Fiat 1300 Coupé – the elegant alternative to Alfa and Ferrari.
The Siata Fiat 1300 Coupé is an insider’s tip among Italian classics: it combines the elegance of a small Ferrari, the engineering of a Fiat, and the rarity of a handcrafted exotic car. It embodies the golden age of Italian coachbuilding in a particularly charming form.
The Siata Coupé offered here was registered in Rome in November 1962 and remained there for over 34 years with its first owner and then another 16 years with its second owner before being sold to Germany and finally imported to Switzerland in 2014. Fully restored in 2012, this stunning Siata 1300 Coupé is in perfect condition. The lively 1300cc engine runs beautifully, and the transmission shifts smoothly. Meticulously maintained, with an MFK Veteran certificate and an ASI Certificato di storicità, no expense or effort was spared to ensure the Siata continues to shine in its former glory. The ownership history is well-documented, and many original documents from the era—such as sales brochures, a warranty booklet, parts catalogs, and the original Italian registration documents—are available.
The Siata Fiat 1300 Coupé is one of the most beautiful and, at the same time, rarest Italian Gran Turismos of the early 1960s. It was built by the Turin-based company SIATA and was technically based on the robust Fiat 1300 and Fiat 1500. Produced in only small numbers, it is now one of the lesser-known Italian exotics of the 1960s. That is precisely what makes it so appealing: at classic car shows, you see many Alfa Romeo Giulia Coupés or Fiat Dinos—a Siata Coupé, on the other hand, is a true rarity.
