This Lagonda is the tenth car in the famous LG45 series built by Lagonda between 1935 and 1937. The beautifully shaped and extravagantly crafted aluminium body was built by Crailville Coachbuilders in England. The last owner imported this Lagonda to Switzerland in 1997 and, in addition to the necessary car maintenance, it has been constantly optimised since then. Among other things, the following work has been carried out during this period:
– Engine rebuilt
– Clutch replaced
– Petrol tank revision
– Fuel pump replaced, second fuel pump installed in the chassis
– Electrcial system completely renewed
– Radiator rebuilt
– 7 pcs. Spoked wheels rebuilt (incl. the spare wheel and two additional wheels)
– Central nuts renewed
Countless participations in classic car racing events attest to the reliability achieved by this Lagonda LG45. Especially worth mentioning are also participations in the exclusive Mille Miglia in 1997, 1999 and 2002. Visually, this Lagonda has also been lovingly restored to a very beautiful condition.
