The beautiful Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster offered here in the color Storm Black Obsidian, was delivered in July 2011 by Aston Martin, Emil Frey AG Zurich. With two previous owners and only about 20’000 km, it is in top maintained collector, almost new condition. Owner’s manual and service manual are present as well as an original car cover and battery charger from Aston Martin.
The Aston Martin Vantage was introduced in 2005 and rounds off the model range of Aston Martin downwards. It is the last design for Aston Martin from the hand of Henrik Fisker and was developed as a sports car in competition with the Porsche 997, Ferrari 430 and Lamborghini Gallardo and was produced until 2017.
All Vantage models are built on the internal VH platform, which was used on almost all models from the V12 Vanquish to the DB10.
In the third quarter of 2008, after three years of construction, a primarily technically revised version of the V8 Vantage was launched with a revised V8 engine. The 4.7-liter engine with 313 kW (426 hp) replaces the previous 4.3-liter V8 with 283 kW (385 hp). It has a torque of 470 Nm at 5750 rpm, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 288 km/h. Furthermore, the automatic transmission has been revised. The steering and the Bilstein suspension with new springs have also been modified.
A new sports package includes forged five-spoke alloy wheels, firmer shock absorbers and modified springs. Exterior changes involve only the redesigned front and rear diffusers. The interior featured a revised center console, a hard-disk navigation system and a connection for MP3 players. The conventional vehicle key was replaced by the so-called Emotional Control Unit (ECU) made of glass, polished stainless steel and polycarbonate.
