This Riley is powered by a very rare pre-war 2.5-Litre engine, which is mated to an also original 3-speed gearbox with an overdrive. In their time, Riley cars were known as very innovative and extremely reliable vehicles. At the beginning of the 1930s, it was above all the small red Riley-Racers that were successful in their own classes in all kinds of sports car races and rallies. These victories manifested the sporting credentials of the Riley brand.

A wide range of documents are provided with this Riley, which describe the extensive car history almost without any gaps. Since it was imported into Switzerland in 2008, this Riley has been carefully reconditioned and technically refined over the years by the same specialist workshop. In the process, the Riley enthusiast and owner has invested around CHF 80,000, with no expense being spared.  He and his previous owners entered the “Special Big Four” in many national and international classic car festivals.
