The Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI from 1974 is a legendary model and is one of the most sought-after classics of the 911 series.
The coupé offered here was delivered to the first owner in the Principality of Liechtenstein in September 1974 by the Porsche dealership Hahn in Fellbach, in the color orange and interior leatherette blue-black with Shetland seat inserts and various individual features such as a 5-speed manual gearbox, tinted windows and an electric sunroof. Just one year later, the car was registered to the second owner in Switzerland and was then, believe it or not, in its third and final ownership for 44 years. It was perfectly cared for, always serviced by Porsche and all work was carried out on it. The engine was recently completely overhauled at Porsche. This beautiful Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI Coupé is matching numbers and color, has a Porsche birth certificate and is in absolutely immaculate and well-maintained collector’s condition. The on-board tools and the on-board folder with all original documents such as operating and user manuals as well as the complete and neatly kept service booklet are present. This 911 Carrara 2.7 has several folders filled with documents and, since 1981, really every invoice and a meticulously kept logbook, absolutely complete and meticulously documented – we have rarely seen anything like it.
Although the Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI is based on the RS 2.7, its slight increase in weight makes it somewhat more comfortable and suitable for everyday use. Nevertheless, the 2.7 MFI remains a thoroughbred sports car that impresses with its close relationship to racing.
This model is extremely popular today. Its blend of classic Porsche design, outstanding driving dynamics and rarity makes it one of the highlights of Porsche history.
