Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 455 H.O.
First registration 08.1973
Matching numbers
Swiss road registration with veteran entry
The Pontiac Firebird Trans Am offered here is a 1972 model with the most powerful and popular 455 H.O. (High Output) big block V8 engine. Engine and chassis are matching numbers. The car was last owned for 20 years and before that was owned the same for a whopping 30 years. It has always been cherished and regularly serviced. This Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is in immaculate, very original, top maintained condition and is freshly veteran approved.
The Firebird is a two-door coupe or convertible from Pontiac, an automotive brand owned by US automaker General Motors (GM). During the time GM was developing the Chevrolet Camaro, a Pontiac model was also being developed based on the Camaro. GM designed the two cars in 1966 and 1967 as competitor models to the Ford Mustang during the muscle car era. The Firebird became a popular sports car as a typical representative of the pony cars.
The Pontiac Firebird was offered with different trim levels, engines and extras in Esprit, Formula or Trans Am variants, with the Trans Am always being the most powerful.
