Description:

MG MGC GT Competition

First Registration 1970, MG MGC GT Competition, Coupé (MY 1969)

Full Restoration 2016-2021 (since appox. 400 kms)

High-performance (186hp) and fully upgraded version for Classic Car Rallies

Swiss Road Registration with „Veteran“ entry

This MG C GT was completely stripped down and rebuilt between 2016 and 2021. The entire mechanics and electrics were also renewed in the project. The in-line six-cylinder engine was given a thorough performance upgrade during the rebuilding process and now produces 186 hp as tested on the dyno. In addition, the MG was lightened significantly and the entire chassis and brakes were adapted to the increased power. A total of CHF 85’000 was invested in the restoration and modifications. All investments are documented by detailed invoice receipts. This MGC cannot be compared to any other MGC in its performance and outstanding condition. A pure-blood driving machine with breathtaking performance and driving fun!

The MG MGC GT was built from 1967 onwards and production was already stopped back in 1969. In this short production time, only 4458 GT versions of the six-cylinder engine were built. Nevertheless, the model MGC was sold for a much longer time.
