MGB V8 Roadster
First registration 09.1979
Swiss road registration with veteran entry
An MGB V8 Roadster is a beautiful sight in itself, but the British classic we offer for sale here is a very special car.
This MGB V8 Roadster was the car of the Swiss MG V8 luminary par excellence and was technically as well as optically revised by him. Besides the new look, for example, the old 3.5 liter V8 engine was replaced by a bigger V8 and now produces much more than the previous 140 hp. The powerful hiss of the engine and exhaust system makes the hearts of all car lovers beat faster. As you can easily see from the photos, this is anything but a standard MGB V8 roadster.
This is an opportunity to acquire a unique MGB V8 Roadster in top condition.
The MGB was first introduced at the Earls Court Motor Show in 1962 and went on to become Britain’s best selling mid-size sports car of all time. This completely redesigned two-seater, which was intended to replace the already successful MGA, was powered at the time by a 1798cc BMC B-Series engine, which continued to power the MGB and MGB GT models virtually unchanged for another 18 years. The MGB series was eventually discontinued in 1980, but the MGB’s popularity remains strong.
