The 230 SL of the W113 series was equipped with the refined in-line six-cylinder with 150 hp and accelerated this time-less beautiful convertible to almost 200 kilometres per hour. Thanks to the luxurious features, this model was also a great sales success for Mercedes-Benz in the USA. The high quality of workmanship has always been far ahead of American vehicles.

This Mercedes-Benz is in a very excellent and well-maintained condition. In 2021, a major service was carried out by an experienced classic car workshop at a cost of just under CHF 12,000. The car’s history and owners have been very well documented since 1965. Extensive invoice receipts (total CHF 100’000.-) also document the careful maintenance history and total restoration of this desirable Pagode.
