Iso Rivolta – Italian elegance, Corvette power, and the exclusivity of a true connoisseur’s sports car.
The Iso Rivolta IR 300 is one of the most fascinating Italian Gran Turismos of the 1960s. It combines the best of three worlds: Italian design, Italian engineering, and American V8 power.
According to the ISO registry, the IR 300 offered here was completed in early March 1966 with the “quick steering” option—a more direct steering system—and was exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show before finally being delivered in June. The car has been in western Switzerland for over 48 years, 35 of which it spent with the same owner in Geneva. In 2014, the 300 GT was eventually sold to German-speaking Switzerland, where it was disassembled, the body and interior were restored, and the mechanical components were partially overhauled.
This beautiful Iso Rivolta 300 GT in Aqua Verde with a brown leather interior is a matching-numbers car and, with its MOT veteran registration, is in top-maintained and highly original collector’s condition. An original owner’s manual and various documents containing reports and articles are included.
The Iso Rivolta IR 300 embodies the concept of the classic Gran Turismo almost perfectly. With only about 790 units built, it is significantly rarer today than many of its contemporary competitors. Many connoisseurs consider the IR 300 to be one of the most underrated Italian GT cars of the 1960s. In the classic car scene, it is considered a true hidden gem—a car for people who are looking for something extraordinary and don’t simply want to own a well-known Ferrari or Maserati.
