Ginetta – British lightness in its purest form.
The G15 marked a commercial success for the small racing car manufacturer Ginetta, allowing them to offer a sports car primarily designed for the road in addition to the race-oriented G4. Instead of the Ford engines previously used, the G15 was equipped with the engine from the Sunbeam Hillman Imp. The engineers at Ginetta were enthusiastic about this modern four-cylinder engine made of light alloy. The G15 was presented to the general public at the 1967 London Motor Show, and only about 800 units were built by 1974.
The Ginetta G15 offered here is powered by a tuned 995cc four-cylinder engine producing approximately 80 hp, which, combined with a curb weight of just 550 kg, still enables it to deliver impressive performance today. Thanks to its rear-engine layout, the agile response of the suspension, and the low seating position, this compact sports car delivers plenty of driving fun even at low speeds and feels right at home on winding roads. This G15, complete with a FIA Historic Regularity Car Pass and FIVA Identity Card, is in excellent condition both technically and visually. A user manual, a parts and price list, as well as many other documents are included.
