Aston Martin DB2 Vantage DHC LHD
This Aston Martin DB2 Vantage is an ultra rare left hand drive Drop Head Coupé (DHC LHD). One of only 19 built convertibles as left hand drive. In an absolute top concours condition that leaves nothing to be desired!
This is an original Vantage. The complete mechanics were restored by Beat Roos (Roos Engineering LTD. Switzerland). More than CHF 100’000.- were invested in engine and gearbox etc. All invoices are available.
This Aston Martin DB2 Vantage DHC LHD was ordered new to the USA and delivered by Leonard Nunes Motor Co. in California on April 17, 1954.
The restoration of this original “low mileage vehicle” was completed in 1988.
Since that time, this beautiful Aston Martin has been featured at many shows and events in and around California. As a result, this unique vehicle has won the following impressive awards:
– 1990 AMOC West Section Concours, 1st place Feltham Cars.
– 1990 Westlake Village Concours d’ Elegance, 1st place Sports Car Class
– 1991 Palm Springs Concours d’Elegance, 1st place British Cars
After many years of ownership, in 1999 this Aston Martin DB2 Vantage DHC LHD was sold and exported to Switzerland, where it remained in a large car collection until today.
This Aston Martin DB2 Vantage DHC LHD is today in a unique top collector/concours condition.
We are not exaggerating if we say that it is certainly one of the finest existing Aston Martin DB2 DHC LHD.
