The legendary and exclusive motorbike brand MV Agusta:
270 motorbike Grand Prix victories. 38 rider’s world championship titles. 37 manufacturer’s world championship titles.
Racing legends such as Giacomo Agostini, Mike Hailwood, Phil Read and John Surtees won it all in the 50s to 70s with MV Agusta and humiliated the competition!
In 1969, the MV Agusta 750 S, the road-going version of the winning racing machines, was launched at a breathtaking price of almost three Moto Guzzi V7s at the time. The evolution of this model resulted 1978 in the 832 Monza, which delivers around 85 hp from its finely ribbed in-line four-cylinder engine with two overhead camshafts and 837 cc. With two disc brakes at the front and one at the rear, it was also the benchmark in terms of braking power. With the optional, hand-made and very rare Magni rear silencers, this MV Agusta produces a thrilling and goosebump-inducing sound! The cardan shaft drive was a unique feature on a sports bike at the time and still eliminates the need for troublesome chain maintenance. A very desirable design and technology icon in the world of sports motorbikes!
This MV Agusta 832 Monza is one of only around 50 produced, making it a truly rarity. The engine was completely rebuilt about 3’000km ago and the rebuild is documented with many photos. We are offering this MV Agusta on commission from a customer who has passionately maintained and also regularly driven this sporty machine in his ownership since 1996.
