MG PA “Sports”
First registered in July 1935
Supercharger and Wilson preselective gearbox
Swiss road legal Veteran
MG PA Supercharged – built for corners, born for racing.
The MG PA Midget is a classic British sports car from the 1930s – a typical roadster that marks an important chapter in MG’s history. Its compact size, low weight, and agile handling made it popular not only as a road sports car, but also in amateur racing and club races.
The MG PA “Sports” offered here was delivered in England in July 1935 in red and was given the registration number MG 4124. It remained in the United Kingdom for over 75 years and was also fully restored there from 2004 to 2005. In 2010, the car was sold to France before finding its way to a Swiss enthusiast seven years later, where the engine and preselective gearbox were overhauled just under 6,000 km ago. This beautiful MG PA “Sports” has always been listed in the Triple-M Register and, in its racing-ready version with a supercharger for brute power and a Wilson preselective gearbox for faster and easier gear changes than with the unsynchronized standard four-speed gearbox, is in top and well maintained collector’s condition. Many documents dating back to 1935, such as a copy of the factory card with delivery details to the first owner, correspondence, owner history, the original registration book, a user manual, spare parts list, and the Triple-M Register are also available, as are the plug-in windows, long windshield, soft top and the original seats.
