The Porsche 911 SC Cabriolet offered here was delivered new in July 1983 by Porsche Salzburg, Austria, in Gran Prix White with a black leather interior, and remained with its first owner for over 33 years. After a change of ownership, the car was finally imported to Switzerland in 2020 by a well-known collector and museum. This beautiful Porsche 911 Super Carrera Cabriolet is matching numbers and, with original 24,800 kilometers on the odometer, is in top-maintained, original, and untouched collector’s condition with its original paintwork. The on-board folder with all original documents such as the operating instructions and maintenance log, the Austrian type certificate with entries from the 1980s and 1990s, and the on-board tools are all present.
The Porsche 911, also known as the Nine Eleven or simply the Eleven, is the Stuttgart-based company’s most famous sports car and is considered the epitome of the brand.
The SC Cabriolet is a very special model in the history of the 911. 1983 was the first year in which Porsche officially offered the 911 as a convertible. Previously, only the coupé and Targa were available. This makes the 1983 convertible not only rare, but also a milestone, as it permanently established the 911 as an open-top car.
