Vincent Black Shadow
First Registration 1954, Vincent Black Shadow, Series C
Swiss Road Registration with „Veteran“ entry
The motorbike premium manufacturer Vincent had an excellent reputation. This was mainly due to Philip C. Vincent’s company philosophy. He had the same attitude as his automotive colleague Sir Henry Royce: he used only the best of the best for his high-priced motorbikes. Vincent motorbikes were the most powerful, fastest and most exclusive. Anyone who rode such a machine was a hell of a guy! No other motorbike was the subject of more discussion, speculation and legends than the Vincent Black Shadow. Black Shadow, because this motorbike was black as night and faster than a shadow. A distinctive feature of this super sports bike was its huge Smiths speedometer, the scale of which reached 150 in the mileage configuration and which therefore corresponded to 240 kilometres per hour. Despite this optimistic speed scale, these wild machines still reached just over 200 kilometres per hour and were “The King of the Road”, so to speak. No other production motorbike managed that at the time.
This Vincent Black Shadow is in a top-restored condition and is a technical milestone in motorbike history. Every motorbike enthusiast and collector will find themselves in passionate daydreams at the look of this breathtakingly beautiful Black Shadow. A rare opportunity to fulfil your dream on two wheels!
