Targa. Very carefully. Very gently. Release the two latches, remove the roof panel, fold it up and store it under the bonnet. The roof bar is shimmering silver. And then there are the rims, Fuchs rims. An “Urmodell” is not complete without them. “Urmodell”, that’s the name of the first generation of the Porsche 911. The first series of the 911 was delivered with a two litres engine and 130 hp. With 180 hp, the 911 S 2.2 is significantly more powerful. More displacement and higher compression equals more power and also more torque. Even when stationary, this 911 is a homage to the original, the clarity of the mechanics and the art of omission.
This 911 Targa as an S version was the most expensive and most powerful 911 at the time. As a Targa version, it makes this model even rarer and even more popular with 911 collectors. In an exceptionell original condition and extensively serviced by Porsche Classic, we are offering this beautiful 911 Targa for sale.
