British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate

Swiss road registration with veteran entry

This MGC was delivered in Switzerland in the spring of 1968 and remained in the same ownership until the year 2000, for more than 32 years. Also the following owner history is known completely. An extensive restoration was carried out in 2008 and since then the MGC shines in a breathtakingly beautiful condition. The original color “Pale Primerose Yellow” was kept as well and the interior is in original condition with black leather and white piping. From the factory, this MGC came with the optional four-speed transmission and overdrive. In addition to the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, the original owner’s manual and a book about the MGC are available with the car.

The MG MGC GT was built from 1967 and already in 1969 the production was stopped again. In this short production period only 4458 MGC GT Coupé with the six cylinder engine were built. However, the cars were sold for much longer. The press at the time criticized the increased front weight and the tendency to understeer compared to the four-cylinder MGB. Nowadays, modern tire technology and fine-tuning of the suspension settings have remedied this criticized disadvantage. An MGC drives with a high fun factor and the incomparably beautiful sound of the inline six cylinder with its strong performance character leaves every MGB with four cylinder far behind!
