The Lagonda M45 was one of the fastest and most expensive sports cars in the 1930s. In 1935, a racing version of the M45 even won the Le Mans 24h race, ending Alfa Romeo’s four-year winning series. Between 1934 and 1935, only 345 cars of all M45 types were built. Of these, only a third were “Tourers” and even rarer were these types with the “T7” body. This particular model is a “Monte Carlo” specification, distinguished by the two spare wheels mounted on the side.

With this Lagonda M45 T7 Tourer we can almost speak of a unique vehicle, because it represents a exceptional and extraordinary condition! The ownership is documented via the Lagonda Owners Club back to the beginning of the fifties.

Since 1999, this Lagonda has been owned by an extremely detail-loving and very sophisticated Aston Martin and Lagonda collector, who has saved no expenses or efforts in giving this breathtaking pre-war sports car the perfection it deserves. An almost endless number of technical and optical accessories give this Lagonda a fascinating presence and it would go beyond the scope of this vehicle description to list them all.

The restoration project, which took more than two years, was carried out by an internationally well-known company and specialist and was completed at the end of 2010. On behalf of the owner, the restoration was continually inspected by a certified expert and therefore additionally surveyed. In this a high level of quality and perfection was achieved without exceptions. Most recently, the 4.5-litre Meadows engine, which is now optimised to 180 hp, the gearbox and the fuel tank underwent an extensive complete restoration. Again, no consideration was shown to costs, which is also reflected in a total invoice of over CHF 90’000. Very comprehensive documents and investment receipts are supplied with this vehicle.

This Lagonda M45 T7 Tourer is a breathtakingly beautiful and adorable classic car. With this opportunity, you will have the chance to experience a journey back in time and to be the admirable highlight at all exclusive classic car events.
