It was completely rebuilt from 2017 to 2019 by the luminary and classic Mini specialist par excellence, at no regard to cost, for over CHF 120,000, on S with a 1275 cc engine. The original Mini was launched in 1959. It was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis to create a compact, economical car for the masses.
The sportier version, the Mini Cooper, was launched in 1961 – developed in collaboration with racing driver and tuning expert John Cooper. The Mini Cooper S was the most powerful version and was produced from 1963.
